The main Roquetas de Mar and Marinas Beach have fine sand and pleasantly warm, crystal-clear water. Both beaches hold the Blue Flag awarded to the best European Union beaches for their quality and services.

Staying in shape is easy in Roquetas de Mar with its swimming pool, tennis, paddle, football, basketball, handball, frontenis…
You can also choose between sea or mountain sports. In the case of the former, there are numerous local yacht clubs. However, if you prefer hill-walking and mountain sport, Roquetas is only a short distance from magnificent natural park, for example, Cabo de Gata, and Puntas Entinas Sabinal.
Golf
The province of Almería, home to Roquetas de Mar, currently has three of the best golf courses on the Mediterranean coast: Envía Golf, Campo de Golf de Almerimar y Campo de Golf Playa Serena.
