You don’t have to be a golfer to appreciate this kind of wild and rugged landscape, set on a plateau above the dry Almanzora river valley as it sweeps down to the sea. Here you can find pleasant, lush green fairways that meander between dry wadis, cactus and rocky outcrops and desert springs that feed streams, waterfalls and rapids which tumble down through Santa Rosa Creek and Powder Creek Rapids to Steamboat Lake.

The Indiana Course is the first desert golf course in Europe and has been built to the full U.S.G.A specifications and to the quality standards of the justly famous desert courses of Arizona and California. Access to golf membership is primarily through property ownership. |

Golf is not the only pursuit to be enjoyed within the Desert Springs Resort, also available to resort members and visitors are a 16 court tennis club and academy, the Steamboat Lake – a shimmering expanse of water and islands with sailing, fishing and other non invasive water sports, sports centre, heated swimming pools under a thatched Caribbean styled long house , gymnasium, numerous bars and restaurants including the Cave bar with private dining room, the Stunning Club House itself and the Crocodile Club are to name but a few.
