San Juan de los Terreros can be found at the Northern tip of Coastal Almeria within the municipal district of Pulpi. It is a town that has for centuries been under the protection of its XVI century castle built by King Felipe V to provide defence from the Berber pirates, whose small houses can still be found scattered throughout the marine cliffs hidden by a multitude of solitary crystalline coves to the North and the impressive beaches of La Rabiosa and La Serena to the South.
This is still classified a rural zone with spectacular surroundings and as such, limits are in place for the height of all developments and much importance is placed on the presence of gardens.
The near coastal localities of Puplí, Aguilas and Vera and the port of Villaricos complement and already ample supply of culture, leisure and shopping that have made this coast one of the most picturesque enclaves of Andalucia.
